Beatrice Webb Care Home
Mount Pleasant has been providing a religious service once every 3 weeks for many years at Beatrice Webb, along with 2 other local Churches. Unfortunately, it is now only Mount Pleasant that attend, so without us the residents would not have the opportunity to worship.
Kate takes the service and Yvonne plays the keyboard to accompany the hymns. We have been truly blessed that more members of our Church come along and support. Diane does a reading, Ema plays the violin and we are very grateful that Debbie, Kath and Dave also attend.
On average we have 12 to 15 residents at our meeting, as well as visitors and staff who often sit in. We have bible readings, prayers, a message, and we sing about 4 hymns. The residents and carers are very grateful that we are there, and they enjoy our fellowship. We get to know them, and they enjoy us chatting to them before we leave. It is a real blessing to be able to be there and worship with these very special people.
